TMD Staffing is hiring a Painter in Conroe, TX

SKILLS REQUIRED: ***MUST BE LISTED ON RESUME***
- MUST HAVE INDUSTRIAL PAINTING EXPERIENCE
- EXPERIENCE IN SPRAY PAINTING SMALL COMPONENT PARTS
- EXPERIENCE IN SPRAY PAINTING FUNCTIONS RELATED TO PREP UNDERCOATING, PRESERVATIVES, AND LUBRICANTS.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform surface preparation activities, which include masking and sanding of product prior to painting or sandblasting.
- Perform spray painting functions related preparatory undercoating, preservatives and lubricants.
- Clean and maintain paint shop equipment such as air lines, fluid lines, paint pots, paint guns and respirators.
- Ensure coatings are clad according to Company or customer requirements.
- Clean and store empty paint containers for proper disposal.
- Maintain and change paint booth media filters and surface protectant coatings as needed.
- Properly contain hazardous waste generated from normal paint shop operations.
- Under general supervision, spray paint small, component parts prior to assembly and final coating.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Comply with all Company and HSE policies and procedures.  

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five (5) + years of spray painting experience at an automotive quality level
- Must be able to pass a respirator fit test and be able to wear a respirator for extended lengths of time
- Must have knowledge on how to set up paint guns
- Be able to mix paint and primer to required specifications
- Basic computer skills for time entry and document lookup
- Strong attention to detail

SCHEDULE: 6:00am- 4:30pm and some Saturdays 5:00am- 1:00pm
OVERTIME: varies from none to 16 hours

MUST HAVE HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED
