TMD Staffing is looking to hire an Insert Operator in the Lewisville, TX area! 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Insert Operator RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Operate offline and auxiliary binding/stitcher & folding equipment.  
• Set up and adjusts machine and equipment for production runs.  
• Clean, lubricate and maintain machine to ensure its optimum operation.  
• May troubleshoot issues and submit requests for maintenance as needed.  
• Requires familiarity with routine operating procedures of equipment which can be set up and operated following a few step to step instructions and skill to operate the equipment.  
• Ability to identify if improper machine operation and make basic adjustments.  
• Maintains a clean, neat and orderly work area.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned.

Insert Operator QUALIFICATIONS

• One year experience in a print bindery environment.
• High School Education, GED or equivalent.
• Some knowledge of finishing techniques used in printing to produce finished printed materials preferred.
• Basic computer skills; knowledge of keyboard functions.
• Basic skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to read, write and speak in the English language to the extent necessary to effectively communicate or interpret instruction.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out basic written or oral instructions. 
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

PAY RATE

$17 per hour in training, $18-$19 upon training completion

SCHEDULE

Core hours are Monday through Friday,10:00 pm to 6:30 am, OT mandatory when available.  Training will be 4-6 weeks on 1st or 2nd shift.
