TMD Staffing is looking to hire Insurance Verification Specialists in the Richardson, TX area! 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Insurance Verification Specialist RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Calls insurance companies and utilizes insurance websites to verify eligibility for the patient  
• Reviews demographic and insurance information in patient accounts and makes necessary corrections as needed
• Notate each account a summary of information received from the insurance company or patient.
• Ensures all insurance, demographic, and eligibility information is obtained and entered the system in an accurate manner
• Call patients to verify patient demographics and insurance providers, updates information in the system, and document conversations
• Adheres to confidentiality, state, federal, and HIPPA laws and guidelines about patient records

Insurance Verification Specialist QUALIFICATIONS

• One year experience in a call center environment
• High School Education, GED or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills; knowledge of keyboard functions.
• Basic skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to read, write and speak in the English language to the extent necessary to effectively communicate or interpret instruction.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out basic written or oral instructions. 

PAY RATE

$22 Per Hour

SCHEDULE

Core hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm
