JOB REQUIRMENTS AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Employees are responsible for following all QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Env.) policies and procedures which includes, but is not limited to: Attend scheduled safety training, follow housekeeping requirements, place waste in designated containers, follow operating procedures, and immediately report any injuries or incidents to the supervisor.
- Compliance with all Logistics and other applicable SOP’s. Participate in updates as required.
- Communicate with all Pasadena departments.
- Cross train and provide back up for all Shipping & Receiving positions.
- Unload, verify, and document all inbound shipments including Sage and SAP as required.
- Confirm and/or upgrade material marking (item code, description, quantity, and UOM).
- Ensure that all material is wrapped and stored properly. Maintain storage rack utilization and accessibility.
- Pull and deliver material to support production. Pull finished product from production, wrap pallets, and stage for shipment.
- Take initiative to learn and self-motivate while adhering to SBM Policies
- Maintain daily housekeeping.
- Additional responsibilities as directed by Manager or Material Handler Team Lead.
- Confirm end of run counts and reconciliation.
- Participate in annual physical inventory.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years minimum directly related experience.
- Ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
- Good organization skills.
- Good verbal and written communication at various functional levels.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office especially Excel
PAY RATE
$18.00 per hour
SCHEDULE
Monday-Friday, 6:45am-3:30 pm
