TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Production Planner for a fabrication shop in the East Houston, TX Area! (77078)

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and manufacturing experience to join a dynamic team. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: In-Person; Office Setting

PAY RATE: Starting at $18.00 per hour, Depending on Experience

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM

PRODUCTION PLANNER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and manage bills of materials (BOM) for both existing and new items.
• Quickly learn and adapt to production processes with strong attention to detail.
• Understands or has knowledge/experience in creating manufacturing cost estimation and quoting. 
• Responsible for scheduling the usage of production material to ensure optimal levels.
• Evaluate suppliers or quality timeliness and match according to goals.
• Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages.

PRODUCTION PLANNER QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have advanced experience with Microsoft Excel 
• Strong mathematical skills, including geometry

• Experience with SIGMA Nest or other nesting programs (strongly preferred, but training is available for qualified candidates)
