TMD Staffing is looking to hire Production Workers in the Houston, TX area! (77041)

WORK ENVIRONMENT: In-Person (Shop/Warehouse)

LOCATION: Houston, Texas 77041

PAY RATE: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on experience.

SCHEDULE: Full-Time; Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends

PRODUCTION WORKER SUMMARY: As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for interpreting information packages to assemble and produce products. Read and interpret blueprints, and position parts. You will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. You will use your hands or machines to do the job with greater precision. You must have good technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity. Ability to read instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics etc. and follow them with precision. The goal is to produce a complex product by putting together smaller components.

PRODUCTION WORKER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow assembly instructions/blueprints
• Listen to directions from supervisors
• Position parts and subassemblies
• Interpret measurements
• Verify specifications
• Troubleshoot malfunctions
• Report errors and ensure work environment is safe and clean

PRODUCTION WORKER QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with standard power and hand tools
• Physical Demands include frequently required to walk; reach with hands and arms; sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
