TMD Staffing is looking to hire Production Workers in the 77041 area!

WORK ENVIRONMENT: In-Person (shop/warehouse atmosphere)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Production Worker is responsible for interpreting information package to assemble and produce products. Read and interpret blueprints, position parts. You will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. You will use your hands or machines to do the job with greater precision. You must have good technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity. Ability to read instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics etc. and follow them with precision. Goal is to produce complex product by putting together smaller components.

- follow assembly instructions/blueprints

- listen to directions from supervisors

- position parts and subassemblies

- interpret measurements

- verify specifications

- troubleshoot malfunctions

- report errors, ensure work environment is safe and clean

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or GED

Strong mechanical aptitude

Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Familiarity with standard power and hand tools

Physical Demands include frequently required to walk; reach with hands and arms; sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

PAY RATE: $17-18/hour

SCHEDULE: must be flexible to work overtime and weekends
