TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Wiring Technician in the San Antonio, Texas area! (78249)

WORK ENVIRONMENT: In Person

PAY RATE: $20.00 per hour

SCHEDULE: Full-Time, 1st Shift; M-F, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

WIRING TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES 

• You are responsible for point-to-point wiring of various electrical components within the client's electrical products
• You will reference wiring diagrams (blueprints), and utilize hand tools to prepare wire, crimp, and connect wire to terminals
• You'll be challenged to be creative to provide clean, quality lines that our customers expect
• Measure and prepare wire bundles for installation
• Reference wiring diagrams to establish proper connections
• Use hand tools to tighten and prepare wire and complete final installation
• Present clean crisp lines on all wiring in alignment with established guidelines
• Be willing to learn and assist other departments as necessary!

WIRING TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS

• 1 year of related experience is required

• Mechanically inclined Basic electrical wiring knowledge

• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and wiring schematics  

• Good with hand tools Ability to read a tape measure 

• Strong math skills 

• Previous experience as an electrical wirer, electronic assembler, panel wirer, assembler, solder, or conduit helper in a manufacturing, production or industrial environment is helpful.
