TMD Staffing is seeking a skilled Aluminum Welder with GTAW experience in the 77041 area!

POSITION: Aluminum Welder - GTAW

PAY RATE: $24.00+ per hour, depending on experience and pass 6G pipe/tube test results.

ALUMINUM WELDER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• - Experience performing GTAW pipe butt welds on Aluminum 
• - Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal and/or overhead)
• - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding diagrams.
• - Determine appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements and determine if weld meets ASME specs
• - Setup components for welding according to specifications
• - Operate angle grinders to prepare parts
• - Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.

ALUMINUM WELDER REQUIREMENTS:

• - Minimum 4 years of welding and fabrication experience with Aluminum and Pipe
• - Required experience with GTAW, TIG and MIG welding techniques and pass 6G pipe/tube test
• - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• - Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• - Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
