TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Bilingual Salesperson in the Humble area! 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

On site work- Direct Hire 

Position Summary:

The Counter Sales position is responsible for increasing sales and profit by efficiently and courteously assisting walk-in, will call and telephone customers with selecting and purchasing products, while assisting the outside sales team with meeting their customer s expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Customer Service- Customer loyalty is maintained by providing an exceptional level of customer service as measured by increased sales and profits, number of transactions, customer feedback and/or satisfaction ratings.
• Inventory Control - Customer is properly and efficiently assisted in the order process and profit is increased as a result of properly maintained inventory and proactively communicated inventory needs.
• Knowledge Development - Knowledge is developed and maintained in order to increase credibility with customers as measured by increased customer loyalty and sales.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or Equivalent AND 1 year of the following experience is preferred:

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs.; must have physical mobility and dexterity to frequently stand, bend, push, twist, kneel, climb, squat, stoop, and reach overhead. Routinely drives/operates forklifts; works with tools, and equipment. Considerable mental/visual concentration, coordinating manual dexterity with mental/visual attention. Construction and Warehouse environment with variable but moderately high noise levels. Must wear closed-toe shoes, gloves, and other protective items as required. A consistent presence at work is required.

In order to operate a forklift, the operator must be a minimum age of 18 years old and successfully complete Forklift Operator Certification.

PAY RATE

$15 an hour
