TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Brake Press Operator in the Houston, TX area! 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: In-Person, Manufacturing -Machine Shop

PAY RATE: $21.00 per hour

SCHEDULE: Full-Time; Monday – Friday 3:30 PM- 12:00 AM. Must be flexible to work overtime as needed.

BRAKE PRESS RESPONSIBILITIES 

Produce parts for assembly operations, that require Shear and Turret Punch Machine operation.

Load and Unload sheet metal safely into machine, change tools, select required sheet metal programs to ensure the quality and production of produced parts.

Inspect products for quality assurance by using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.

Learn other manufacturing machines in shop to serve as a back up to other positions, 

Assist with machine preventative maintenance using proper log out tag out procedures. 

PUNCH PRESS- DIE SETTER QUALIFICATIONS

2-5 years experience on a brake press in a manufacturing environment, prefer to have on the job punch press experience within the last 2 years.

Ability to accurately use and read drawings and blue prints. 

Meet or exceed company productivity standards and must document downtime and up-time data is required.

Basic understanding of programming is a plus.

Experience in a lean manufacturing or continuous improvement manufacturing environment is required.

Great communication skills with ability to read and write in English.
