TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Business Development Rep for our NW Houston, TX office.
The Business Development Representative’s objective and function is to perform all sales and service functions for targeted markets by making outside cold calls, proposal calls, service calls, and unexpected visits to build business relationships and become a supplier of temporary associates to qualified prospects.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Perform outside service calls such as customer visits, collections, and safety meetings.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes including bill rates, and recommend candidates.
- Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI) put in place by Corporate.
- Attend weekly sales pipeline meetings with management.
- Create and maintain customer files.
- Must be able to maintain a neat, professional appearance and possess excellent oral and written communication.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver’s license and company-required car insurance coverage.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months of successful sales experience.
- Outside sales and/or staffing industry sales experience preferred.
- A sense of urgency
- Light computer experience required
- Ability to prepare rate quotes, proposals, and follow-up letters
- Experience with maintaining sales quotas and heavy phone contact
