Job Description

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for winning new business, expanding existing business, and providing outstanding service to clients and prospective clients. The Business Development Representative works directly with operations to ensure that the hiring needs of our clients and the contract employees payroll expectations are met. For TMD Staffing, the key qualities that make a successful Business Development Representative are being growth focused, targeted, deliberate, profit-minded and, most importantly, relationship-oriented.


  • Achieves revenue growth by winning new business
  • Maintains and adjusts a full target sales pipeline by using all available resources
  • Sets and conducts well-prepared meetings with decision makers, asking the appropriate questions to qualify, drive value, and win business
  • Prepares and presents proposals and quotes and recommends candidates
  • Maximizes profitability by negotiating bill rates and terms
  • Builds and maintains business relationships throughout the sales cycle
  • Business to Business (B2B) outside cold calling to meet weekly goals
  • Conducts weekly drop-bys, service calls and proposal calls

Salary:

TMD offers a competitive base salary of $45-$60,000/year based on experience plus an attractive commission structure.
