Pay Rate: $17.00 - $20.00 / HR (Depending on Experience) 

Job Title: Carpenters

TMD Staffing is looking to hire 5 Carpenters!  

Tasks:

• Installs Insulation
• Makes measured cuts
• Builds wall frames from jig
• Sets up and operates wood working tools to cut, form and finish material for the job.
• Erects or dismantles structures, builds, repairs and/or refinishes walls or structures.
• Installs wood or metal parts. Installs windows and doors as required.
• Learning shop drawings
• Maintains shop equipment
• Follows Falcon Structures policies and procedures, health and safety standards and complies with appropriate building codes
• Attends monthly safety classes
• Charges to correct projects
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 0-4 years of experience
• Able to follow direction
• Must have ability to learn tools and terminology
• Must be safety conscience
• Must have good communications and interpersonal skills
• Has a desire to learn
• Flexible and able to work as part of a team

Physical Requirements:   

Sight in order to be aware of hazards and dangers

Hearing and speaking to exchange information

Dexterity of hands to perform tasks required of position

Must be able to read and write English in order to review project plans

Must be able to climb ladders and be comfortable at different heights

Must be able to traverse the production facility

Able to work in outdoor environment, dealing with extreme weather

Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time

Schedule:

• 7:00AM -3:30PM, Monday-Friday. Must be able to work occasional Saturdays.
