Job Title(s): VIP Event Staff: Hosts, Servers and Bartenders
Duration of the Show: February 5, 2025 – March 23, 2025
Primary Responsibilities
- Greet guests at the VIP entrance, scan their tickets, and hand them their VIP lanyards.
- Make sure that all customer needs are met in a prompt, professional, and efficient manner.
- Serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests (market dependent).
- Prepare VIP for dining by clothing tables and setting decorations, cleaning and vacuuming, placing furniture, etc.
- Fill up beverage fridges and food stations.
- Perform inventory on supplies.
- Serve food to guests throughout the VIP tent and the attached terraces in a positive and friendly manner.
- Maintains strict cleanliness of the VIP area.
- Clear and clean tables with food, drinks and general garbage, clean coffee areas, food service areas, and VIP areas in general.
- Ensure hand-washing stations are always in order and with soap and paper towels.
- Change garbage, compost, recycle bags, and throw them out into assigned bins.
- Participate in the setup and tear down of the kitchen and catering areas.
- Assist other areas as needed.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a professional, clean appearance with a straight posture. Note: Employees are responsible for arriving in black shirts, pants and shoes (no logos).
- TABC and Food Handler Certifications are required.
- Be physically able to stand up for long hours.
- Understand customer service and hospitality.
- Pay attention to the details.
- Work fast and efficiently under pressure.
- Have a welcoming and friendly attitude (smile and proper greetings).
- Work well with others and know when to get the help of a supervisor.
- Possess the ability to learn a point-of-sale system and retain the information.
- Must be available for the whole city duration.
- English speaking is mandatory – other languages are an asset.
Schedule:
- Working Hours: Hours will vary.
- Working Days: 5 days a week (Subject to change according to the show schedule)
