Job Description:

As a Construction Project Superintendent working with TMD Staffing, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of our client's construction projects. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while maintaining project schedules and budgets. This position requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in construction management and a passion for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Project Leadership: Take charge of on-site project activities, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety protocols.

- Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the efforts of construction crews, subcontractors, and other team members to meet project objectives.

- Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety guidelines and conducting regular safety meetings and audits.

- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work meets the highest quality standards and is in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.

- Schedule Management: Develop and manage project schedules, monitor progress, and make necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.

- Budget Oversight: Monitor project costs, control expenses, and work closely with the project management team to maximize profitability.

- Communication: Foster strong relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to facilitate effective communication and project coordination.

- Problem-Solving: Identify and address any issues or obstacles that may arise during construction, offering practical solutions to keep the project on schedule and within budget.

- Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports, job site photos, and change orders.

- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure work quality and compliance with project specifications.

- Reporting: Provide regular project status updates to the project manager and senior management.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Project Superintendent.

- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills.

- Proven ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse project stakeholders.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Commitment to safety and knowledge of OSHA regulations.

- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field (preferred).

- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR) are a plus.

 **Training will be in Austin, TX. The role is based out of the Kennedale, TX area.**
