Position: Commercial Construction Supervisor (Assistant Project Manager)

Location: Taylor, Texas 76574

Pay:  Depending on Experience

Shift: 12 Hour Shift; 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Monday through Saturday)  

A lot of Over-time throughout Project

Job Title: Commercial Construction Supervisor

As a Supervisor with TMD, your primary role will be to oversee and provide on-site coordination for all phases of mitigation and/or reconstruction projects. This includes customer communication, production schedule creation, facilitation of sub-contractor labor, buy-out schedules, quality assurance, verifying specifications are being strictly followed, and ensuring work is proceeding on schedule. The Supervisor is responsible for crew management, quality control, and job site safety.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage on-site construction laborers.

• Create and view project schedules.

• Ensure construction activities comply with all relevant healthcare regulations, building codes, and safety standards.

• Attend production meetings, client meetings, and other meetings as required.

• Maintain records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders, RFIs, and safety meetings.

• Obtain permits and coordinate with inspection authorities regarding inspections and approvals.

• Enforce corporate OSHA safety policies on jobsite, providing key responsibility for safety and compliance in the field.

• Attend all appropriate company meetings.

What You’ll Need

• Proven experience as a Supervisor/Lead in the Commercial Construction industry.

• 2 years of experience in commercial construction. 

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in project management software and tools.

OSHA 10 Certification.

Schedule:

• Monday to Saturday 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

• Over-time is Mandatory throughout the duration of the project.

• Project Length - 3-5 Months.

Experience:

• 2 Years of Commercial Construction experience is a plus.

Certification:

• OSHA 10
