Job Title: Conversion Operator

TMD Staffing is looking to hire Conversion Operators! Our client is looking for Temp-to-hire individuals to perform a variety of routine operations on equipment that produces plastic bags. Apply today, start tomorrow!

Tasks:

•  Perform set-ups and changeovers based on prescribed procedures and production demand.
• Use a ruler, retractable knives, hook knives, and various hand tools.
• Perform Quality tests on the finished product to ensure quality and conformance to specified tolerances.
• Perform leak audits and perform simple calculations.
• Make routine machine adjustments to correct deviations.
• Diagnose routine problems, and move materials as necessary.

Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Must be willing to work a 2-2-3 schedule with planned day/night rotation.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs routinely.
• Basic understanding of machine operations and adjustments.

Schedule:

• 2-2-3 Schedule, 7:00AM-7:00PM
