Job Title: Customer Service Technical Support

TMD Staffing is looking to hire reliable Customer Service Technical Support agents for a security system manufacturing company in New Braunfels!! It is important that applicants for this position have previous experience in electronic repairs (ex: cell phone repair, computer repair). This position is responsible for providing technical problem resolution, troubleshooting issues with security products, and providing customer service support over the phone***RESUME REQUIRED***

Pay Rate: $16.00 / HR

Tasks:

Provide daily support to users of various computer systems including answering questions, analyzing problems, and quickly forming solutions

Provide technical and sales customer support services for security products over the phone and electronically.

Maintain detailed records of daily interactions with customers, installation activities, reported issues, and completed solutions along with any further actions required of management, returns, replacements, or repair personnel.

Operates/uses machines, hand tools, small power tools, voltage meters, and testing equipment to assemble and test products. Strips, wraps wires and wires units.

Develop training manuals and troubleshooting procedures to help both support personnel and end users interact properly with security products.

Test and repair electronic boards, parts, hardware, and other manufactured security products using hand tools and power tools, and machinery.

Requirements:

• Associates degree in electronics and/or help desk support technician with windows desktop certification (MSCDST Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) 3 years of related experience
• Ability to read and interpret installation instructions, blueprints, process sheets, operations manuals, schematics, and work orders.
• Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm and professional in all circumstances
• Bilingual is a plus! (Spanish/English)

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm
