Job Title: Driver Helper

TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Driver Helper for a client located in Schertz. 

As a Driver Helper you will be responsible for assisting the driver in loading and unloading all lumber, millwork, windows, and other building materials from the vehicle.  It s physical labor, and you must be able to work in any environment! Steel toe shoes are mandatory.

TASKS

• Safely and efficiently loads and unloads building materials onto delivery trucks and on job sites.
• Assists driver in unloading materials safely at job sites.
• Acts as spotter in assisting driver while reversing or navigating in congested areas.
• Secures load and/or assists driver in securing loads before delivery.
• Evaluates job site for hazards before making delivery, performs all job duties adhering to company policies and procedures, and communicates with customer to ensure good customer service.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
• Must be able to stand high temperatures
• Ability to lift 100 lbs repetitively
• Experience in warehouse/material handling experience preferred

SCHEDULE 

• Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
