Position: Electro/Mechanical Assembly (Oil and Gas Industry)

Shift: 2nd Shift

Pay: $18.00 PH (DOE)

Location: Cedar Park, Texas

WORK ENVIRONMENT

In Person

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Assemble products using engineering drawings in an assembly line-type environment.

In-process inspection of products for defects

Operate tools and machinery to produce and modify parts.

Machinery/equipment operated includes: - Manual Lathe

Drawing table

Wire/cable straightener

Surface grinder

Spot welder

Soldering iron

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum one year of experience in a manufacturing environment

Ability to read manufacturing/engineering drawings

Ability to read and follow manufacturing work instructions

Excellent written and spoken English language skills

PREFERRED SKILLS:

- Experience in one piece flow manufacturing environment

- Experience in high-volume manufacturing

- Experience in quality inspection

- J-STD Soldering certified/experience with soldering

- Software/firmware testing and updating

- Experience using any of the above-listed machinery/equipment

- Follow directions from shift lead/supervisor/factory manager

- Willing to cross-train and work in multiple areas as order demand dictates
