Job Title: Electrician / Maintenance Tech

TMD Staffing is looking to hire an Electrician / Maintenance Technician!

Location: Stafford, TX 77477

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
• Complete inspections of the facility to identify and resolve issues.
• Ensure that the facility is always safe and secure.
• Check electrical and mechanical systems to ensure functionality.
• Plan and oversee preventative maintenance activities, repairs, or projects.
• Maintain equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
• Monitor maintenance expenses and confirm expenses are within the allocated budget.
• Manage relationships with contractors and suppliers.
• Maintain logs and report all maintenance activities.
• Ensure health and safety policies are complied with.
• Confirm annual inspections are done on time and permits are up to date.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities, repairs, or projects as assigned by supervisor.
• Complete work orders in the priority order assigned by the department supervisor. 
• Take the work order with you to the work area for reference. Perform work per instructions/ drawings/ prints.
• Inform your supervisor if there is not a work order available for the task you have been assigned.
• Have all materials, components, and tools on hand prior to starting a work order or project.

Qualifications:

• 2 years or more experience performing maintenance activities within a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent: degree from vocational school or BS/BA in business.
• 2 years or more experience managing and performing maintenance activities within a manufacturing environment.
• Valid Certified Maintenance Manager is a plus.
• Experience as facility manager or other managerial roles.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance operations and routines.
• Knowledge and demonstrated skills in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and machine-tool repair. 
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Experience in reporting and tracking maintenance activity.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Experience using forklifts and man lifts.

Schedule:

• 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM
