TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Forklift Operator in Pasadena, TX 77503!

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Office Environment (Pasadena, TX)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 years minimum directly related experience.
• Ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
• 3 years minimum on forklift lift loading and unloading
• Good organization skills.
• Good verbal and written communication at various functional levels.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office especially Excel
• Typing skills necessary
• Inventory: Cycle counts and end of runs
• Computer experience required

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Employees are responsible for following all QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Env.) policies and procedures which includes, but is not limited to: Attend scheduled safety training, follow housekeeping requirements, place waste in designated containers, follow operating procedures, and immediately report any injuries or incidents to the supervisor.
• Compliance with all Logistics and other applicable SOP’s.  Participate in updates as required.
• Communicate with all Pasadena departments.
• Cross train and provide back up for all Shipping & Receiving positions.
• Unload, verify, and document all inbound shipments including Sage and SAP as required.
• Confirm and/or upgrade material marking (item code, description, quantity, and UOM). 
• Ensure that all material is wrapped and stored properly.  Maintain storage rack utilization and accessibility.
• Pull and deliver material to support production.  Pull finished product from production, wrap pallets, and stage for shipment.
• Take initiative to learn and self-motivate while adhering to SBM Policies
• Maintain daily housekeeping.
• Additional responsibilities as directed by Manager or Material Handler Team Lead.
• Confirm end of run counts and reconciliation.
• Participate in annual physical inventory.

PAY RATE

$17.00 per hour DOE

SCHEDULE

Monday-Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:30 PM
