TMD Staffing is looking to hire Groundskeeper/Yard People in the 77086 area!
WORK ENVIRONMENT
In-Person, Outside
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for a variety of tasks including but not limited to landscaping, erosion control, turf management, mowing, blowing, trimming, and digging with proper equipment. The Field Technician will be responsible for ensuring that they are following all safety protocols when assigned to the various landscaping duties.
Working on commercial job sites performing landscape maintenance work
Perform various landscape duties such as mowing and trimming
Planting flower beds and trees
Installing mulch and other landscape functions
Dig and perform other excavating duties as needed
Ensure all landscaping duties are performed as assigned by the Field Foreman
Following all safety protocols and performing safety checks on equipment prior and after usage
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with landscape equipment preferred
Experience with planting flower beds preferred
MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE DRIVERS LICENSE
Flexible to work at any of the Houston metropolitan area sites
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing outside in high heat temperatures
Use of muscles to lift, push, pull or carry heavy objects
Move two or more limbs together (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while remaining in place.
Make quick, precise adjustments to machine controls.
See details of objects that are less than a few feet away.
Be physically active for long periods without getting tired or out of breath.
Understand the speech of another person.
Speak clearly so listeners can understand.
Must be able to lift up 75 - 100 pounds at times
PAY RATE
$16/hour
SCHEDULE
Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, shift starts at 5:45 am, 10 hour shifts, must be able to work weekends depending on weather
