TMD is now hiring an Accounting Manager-Direct Hire in the NW Houston (290 & 610) area!!

The Accounting Manager oversees subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs in the department. This is a true first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Requires extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.

Job responsibilities:

• Manages multiple accounting functions and operations such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue, asset, cost, and tax accounting.

• Implements accounting policies and procedures that adhere to governmental financial and tax regulations and comply with GAAP and IFRS standards.

• Oversees monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes and reporting.

• Evaluates accounting processes and systems and implements optimizations.

• Develops and directs accounting professionals and support staff.

Requirements:

•Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or directly related field, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred

•1-3+ years’ managerial experience

•3+ years’ experience of Accounting in Healthcare industry (5+ years preferred)

•Accounting Management

•Asset Management

•Balance Sheet Analysis

•Business Acumen

•Solid comprehension of GAAP Standards

•Regulatory Compliance

•Accounting Software

PAY RATE: $95-105K depending on experience.

SCHEDULE:  Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
