TMD Staffing is looking to hire Inventory - Shipping and Receiving in the  South Austin, TX area! 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

In-Person

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manually, or using a hand truck, performs various material handling duties in the facility.  

• Prepares items for shipping  

• Load and unload goods onto trucks as needed.  

• Verify, inspect, and enter the receipt of an incoming shipment.  

• Prepare shipment of non-stock orders, carefully verifying identifying information and quantities.  

• Pull and prepare stock items accurately, verifying identifying information and quantities.  

• Notifying inside sales/customer service when parts are not on the shelf.  

• Notify the supervisor when parts are not on the shelf to fill an order or to fill out an inventory adjustment form.  

• Schedule shipment picks up as needed.  

• Perform  the safe day-to-day  activities  of the warehouse while maintaining a clean work environment.  

• A chieve all product movement as directed by the client.

• Support inside and outside sales departments to ensure customer satisfaction.  

• Implement corrective actions if deficiencies arise .     

• Maintain storage area by organizing floor space, adhering to storage  design,  and recommending improvements.   

• Conduct periodic physical inventory counts for certain products .    

• Work to continuously improve all warehouse functions.   

• Assist   with  warehous e and  minor building maintenance .  

• Present a positive and respectful professional image towards  co-workers  and   customers ; lead by example  and  follow established policies and processes .    

• M ake  sound business  decisions based on  the best  interest  and goals of our client.   

• Perform other duties as assigned.   

• Responsible fo r a ccurately receiving, shipping, and inventorying all products for our client's business operations.

Experience and Skills:  

• 1-2 years of previous warehouse experience required.  

• General knowledge of warehouse procedures.  

• Able to work as a team or independently.  

• Some Knowledge of PC and business enterprise software.  

• Follow safety rules.  

• Good housekeeping practices.  

• Inventory experience 

• Ability to lift 55 pounds of weight.  

PAY RATE

$18 + per hour (DOE)

SCHEDULE

Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM  OR  8:00 AM- 4:30 PM
