TMD Staffing is looking to hire Inventory Control Specialists in the Upper Marlboro, MD area! (20774)

WORK ENVIRONMENT: In-Person

PAY RATE: $25.00 per hour

SCHEDULE: Full-Time; 40 Hours

INVENTORY CONTROL RESPONSIBILITIES

· Reviews work orders and converts to Manufacturing Order (M/O) in Sage.

· Reviews Production Status Reports weekly and prepares M/O's.

· Print and distribute M/Os.

· Coordinate with purchasing, production, and project managers to ensure the accuracy and completeness of M/Os.

· Investigate variances and adjust inventory records if necessary.

· Coordinates damaged and defective products, ensuring it is accounted for by adjusting inventory records.

· Revises Bill of Materials for updates, design changes, and corrections.

· Participates in and assists in preparing for Annual Physical Inventory Counts.

· Conducts weekly area cycle counts and recommends and prepares appropriate adjustments for approval.

· Research inventory discrepancies and make necessary corrections.

· Participates in testing for process improvements.

· Uses Microsoft Excel to export data.

INVENTORY CONTROL QUALIFICATIONS

· Must have at least 3 years of production, warehouse, or inventory control experience.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

· Must be willing to take initiative.

· Sage experience is a plus.

· Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.

· Experience working with inventory activities in an ERP System.

· Attention to detail and the ability to follow up.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
