TMD Staffing is looking to hire a First Shift Kitter for a client in the Lewisville, Texas area! (75057)

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Onsite, Warehouse Environment

PAY RATE: $15.00 per hour

SCHEDULE: First Shift; Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

KITTER SUMMARY: Manage kitting processes, pull materials, verify labels, handle shipping/receiving, and maintain a clean workspace. Requires steel-toe shoes, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.

KITTER RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Manage the kitting and material process.
• Pull raw materials and boxes from inventory for production line operators
• Verify box labels and skid tags
• Wrap and store finished product according to specifications
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
• Use all material handling equipment
• Complete daily pre-inspection checklists
• Perform shipping and receiving functions as required per company procedures
• Replenish supplies and clean the area at the end of the shift
• Report quality problems to necessary personnel
• Process all paperwork on shipments, receipts, scrap, returns, and or damaged goods
• Cycle counting of raw materials and finished goods

KITTER QUALIFICATIONS 

Steel-toe shoes or boots are required.

Superior organizational skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to work in a team environment.
