TMD Staffing is looking to hire an On-site Logistics Document Controller in the Hockley, TX area! (77447)
The On-site Logistics Document Controller will play a vital role in coordinating and maintaining all project-related documentation, including bill of ladings, invoices, purchase orders, and reports. The Document Controller will oversee the intake, storage, and organization of the project documents.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
In-Person; This is a DIRECT - HIRE opportunity!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sorting, storing, and retrieving electronic and hard copy documents as requested by employees and clients.
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive document control system for project-related documentation, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
- Handle the intake, scanning, verification, and storing of project documents.
- Collect, review, and process various project documents, including BOLs, invoices, POs, reports, and other delivery related material.
- Implement tracking mechanisms to monitor document status, revisions, and approvals, ensuring timely updates and adherence to project timelines.
- Checking and editing documents for accuracy and compliance, create reports and audit documents as needed.
- Report and distribute project documents to Logistics Manager daily, work closely with the onsite Logistics Coordinator.
- Distribute project-related copies to internal teams as requested.
- Maintain an organized and easily retrievable document repository, both physically and digitally, to facilitate quick access to relevant information as required.
- Maintaining the security of confidential documents.
- Following and improving document control procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in document control and records management are a plus.
- Previous experience in document control or records management, preferably in the construction, energy, or utilities industry.
- Ability to work in all types of environments and weather conditions.
- Strong understanding of document control principles, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Familiarity with renewable energy projects and logistics operations is beneficial.
- Proficiency in document management software, electronic document control systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with enterprise content management (ECM) systems is desirable.
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong prioritization and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
PAY RATE
$46000 - $50000 Annually
SCHEDULE
Monday-Friday, 8:00AM 5:00PM
