TMD Staffing in Kyle is hiring a Mechanical Cable/Box Builder Technician for a global supplier of standard mil-spec products for Military and Aerospace vehicles and equipment.  Our candidates that possess experience with building wire harnesses for electrical boards for aerospace / defense manufacturing environment will be a plus. We are looking for solid, dedicated and hard-working employees with high work ethics that are looking for an opportunity to excel in this type of industry and grow with the company. This position is full time and temp to hire. Interviews will be scheduled for the right candidate.  Candidates must have completed a high school course of study and graduated or have what is equivalent to a high school diploma.  Experienced Military electronic techs will be a great plus!  Resumes required.  

PAY RATE:  $18/HR + (Depending on Experience)

SCHEDULE:  1ST Shift - 7AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Ability to read blueprints and follow wire harness assembly instructions

- Ability to gather materials and tooling necessary to perform work in an organized manner

- Be able to route, wires, and assemble electronic components using wire layout boards

- Conduct functional and continuity tests of wire harness cable assemblies using friendly test fixtures

- Operate semi-automatic equipment such as crimp presses, wire twisters, and wire strippers

- Use a solder iron

- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of in-process assemblies 

- Must be authorized to work in the USA

- Must clear a background check

- Must be able to pass a drug screen
