TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Maintenance Handyman to work alongside the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo! (78219)

JOB TITLE: Maintenance Handyman

LOCATION: San Antonio, TX 78219

PAY RATE: $15.00 per hour, depending on experience

LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT: Temporary – For the duration of the rodeo.

MAINTENANCE HANDYMAN SUMMARY: TMD Staffing is hiring a Maintenance Handyman for the San Antonio Livestock Show & Rodeo (78219). Responsibilities include event clean-up, restroom maintenance, trash removal, minor repairs, and safety checks. Must be available to work 7 days a week, with shifts from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Experience with carpentry, plumbing, or electrical work is a plus!

MAINTENANCE HANDYMAN RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Event Clean-Up: Regularly clean and maintain event areas, including seating areas, restrooms, walkways, concession stands, and outdoor spaces.
• Trash Removal: Empty trash cans, pick up litter, and ensure the grounds remain free of debris throughout the day.
• Restroom Maintenance: Ensure restrooms are stocked with necessary supplies and kept clean and sanitary throughout the event.
• Sweeping & Mopping: Sweep, mop, and maintain clean floors in indoor spaces such as arenas, pavilions, and exhibition halls.
• Set-Up and Tear-Down Support: Assist with setting up and taking down event equipment, including chairs, tables, fencing, and signage as needed.
• Outdoor Maintenance: Assist with maintaining pathways, entrances, and other outdoor spaces by ensuring they are clear of hazards and debris.
• Event Support: Provide assistance in setting up or cleaning up after specific events, including livestock areas, arenas, and vendor spaces.
• General Repairs: Perform minor repairs to facilities, equipment, and furniture as needed to ensure the event runs smoothly and safely.
• Safety Checks: Monitor areas for safety hazards (e.g., spills, obstacles) and immediately address or report them.

MAINTENANCE HANDYMAN SCHEDULE - Must be able to work 7 days a week

1^st Shift: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, 5 days a week.

During the Rodeo (February) you will be required to work 7 days a week.
