TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician in the Baytown, Texas area! (77523)

Specializes in Refrigeration and Forklift Maintenance.

POSITION: Maintenance Technician 

LOCATION: Baytown, TX 77523

PAY RATE: $20.00 per hour, depending on experience

SHIFT: Hours will be discussed with the manager.

SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician will perform basic preventive maintenance and minor repairs on mechanical systems, facility structures, and grounds under close supervision. Duties include inspecting refrigeration systems, operating power tools and welding equipment, and using motorized lifts as needed. Experience in refrigeration maintenance and forklift mechanics is required.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN TASKS: 

• Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks and minor repairs on all mechanical assets impacting the operation of the facility, physical structure, and exterior grounds under the instruction and close supervision of leadership.
• Perform basic inspections of refrigeration system under the instruction and close supervision of leadership.
• Operate power tools, cutting torch, and other welding apparatus to cut or join metal parts.
• Utilize onsite motorized lift and rental equipment as needed while operating, inspecting, calibrating, and maintaining equipment.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS: 

• Experience in refrigeration maintenance.

• Previous forklift mechanic experience is required. 

• Experience working in the field preferred.
