Pay Rate: $16 per hour to start $18 Upon training completion
Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST
TMD Staffing is seeking Customer Experience Specialists for a reputable customer service partner. This fully onsite position in Austin involves supporting customers with card-related issues, primarily through chat and email, with occasional phone support.
Ideal candidates are customer-focused, detail-oriented, and have experience in financial support or similar service environments. Strong communication and de-escalation skills are essential.
Handle customer inquiries related to card support via chat, email, and phone
Provide real-time support to agents as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Investigate and resolve complex customer issues in a timely manner
Manage and respond to customer complaints and escalations
Assist with outbound customer calls and system testing
Process customer requests using internal ticketing systems
Take ownership of high-touch or escalated customer cases and resolve thoroughly
Previous experience in customer service or financial support (preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving and de-escalation abilities
Ability to work independently and know when to escalate issues
Comfortable following direction and collaborating with team members
Demonstrates professionalism, initiative, and reliability
Ability to manage multiple systems and understand process flow
Embody values of being humble, honest, motivated, and driven
