TMD Staffing in Kyle, TX is looking for a skilled Purchasing Agent for a supplier of electronic components that will have a keen eye for detail and have a commercial mindset.  

The right candidate has to have outstanding organizational skills as well as have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. If you have experience in purchasing or relevant role, and if you feel comfortable and can effectively negotiate prices, terms, conditions and maintain profitable relationships, we want to meet you.  if you have a strong analytical mindset, you will be a right fit for this job. This position has the potential to become a permanent job once the probationary period has been met. You must have a High School Diploma or equivalent to qualify for this position.  Resume and Interview driven.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process/Enter Purchase Orders and submit to suppliers
• Expedite and Track Purchase Orders for timely delivery
• Maintain Log of Sales/Purchases
• Review Bills of Material or BOM
• Review Supplies to ensure quality
• Monitor Stock levels
• Assess supplier profiles and analyze quote offers
• Keep Vendor records updated

SKILLS:

• Experience in Purchasing
• ERP Environment
• Microsoft Office tools, Syteline Software, (Excel, Word, Power Point)
• Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing purchasing
• Ability to multitask and change priorities on a moments notice
• Self motivated, Proactive and effective team player

Exercise business judgement for positive purchasing results

REQUIREMENTS: 

Be able to pass a background check

Be able to pass a drug screen

Be available for overtime and on days off

Have reliable transportation

Be able to stand throughout shift unassisted

Be able to carry 20 to 25Lbs

Be able to speak and write fluently in English

Must be legal to work in the USA
