TMD Staffing in Kyle is hiring a QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER for a global distributor of standard mil-spec products for aerospace and military vehicles and equipment.  That our candidates possess electronics experience in military, aerospace or defense manufacturing environment will be a plus. Being proficient in Windows / Microsoft Office will also be very useful.  This is a full time, temp to hire position that has the potential to transition to permanent once probationary period has been met.  Interviews will be scheduled for the right candidate.  The right candidates will be self-motivated, dependable and have high work ethics. Military Electronics a great plus!  Resumes required.  

PAY RATE:  $25/HR+ (DOE) Salary after hired permanent.

SCHEDULE:  1ST Shift - 8AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday

• Must have keen attention to detail.
• Prior experience in quality management in Aerospace/Defense environments a plus.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Quality Management systems, quality principles, continuous improvement processes

- Document Control and Configuration Management

- Standards:  ISO9000, AS9100, Military Standards, IPC 610, 620, J-STD-001

- Quality inspections and test, First Article Inspection (FAI) per AS9102

- Regulatory compliance:   REACH, RoHS, ITAR, EAR, Conflict Minerals, etc.

- Product Par Approval Process (PPAP) Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)

- Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA)

- Demonstrate problem solving abilities

- Be able to execute internal audits

- Risk analysis and mitigation

- Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Visio, Adobe Acrobat

- Be self-motivated, team oriented and have keen attention to detail

- Must be authorized to work in the USA

- Must clear a background check

- Must be able to pass a drug screen

- Must have reliable transportation.
