TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Quality Inspector in the Seguin area! 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

In-Person

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products, recording quality results in our digital ERP / Quality Management System.

Approves machined finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual inspection, and performing dimensional inspections.

Identify and document non conformances. Facilitating disposition activities, to include returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.

Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into ERP database.

Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions.

Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.

Key Skills:

• Ability to measure and inspect parts utilizing calibrated instruments (calipers, micrometers, heigh gauge, pin gauge, etc.).
• Experience with First Article Inspections.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and measure parts in accordance with customer specifications.
• Document non-conformities on rejection tags and inspection forms.
• Have knowledge of Inspection, Measuring and Test Equipment.
• Excellent communication skills/able to effectively interact with and provide feedback to co-workers.
• Provide support to the shop floor.
• Correctable vision to meet the requirements of company work instructions and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• In process, First Article, and Final Inspection experience on build to print manufactured parts/components.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to take direction and work well alone and in a team environment.
• Ability to get along and interact professionally with others.
• Great attendance and punctuality.
• Must have 2 or more years practical experience performing in-process and final inspections on machined parts, assemblies, and / or sub-assemblies.
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) and other engineering/inspection standards.
• Must be able to stand for 2 hours at a time.

PAY RATE

$18.50-20.50 per hour

SCHEDULE

Monday - Friday, 2:00PM - 11:300PM

Or

Friday- Sunday, 6:00AM- 6:00PM
