POSITION TITLE: Recruiter
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt - Hourly
SUPERVISOR: Senior Recruiter, Branch Manager
GENERAL PURPOSE
The Recruiters primary objective is to recruit, interview, hire, conduct customer specific orientations, place, monitor, and end assignments for temporary associates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure customer satisfaction by selecting and assigning qualified temporary associates.
- Assign and monitor temporary associates assignments.
- Process background checks and complete drug testing of prospective temporary associates.
- Obtains complete and accurate information on customer job orders.
- Manages and maintains correct and current information for computer files, job orders and weekly reports.
- Meet key performance indicators (kpi) put in place by Corporate.
- Assign temporary associates as needed.
- Ensure all information is entered timely and correctly into the database system and verify all records and files are kept current.
- Provide support and guidance to temporary associates.
- Maintain proper notes in the system.
- Maintain common areas for temporary associates.
- Answer telephones as needed
- File all paperwork as needed
- Assist other branch personnel as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education and Experience:
Graduation from high school or GED equivalent with 2 or more years working in a temporary agency, and customer service experience in which independent and discretionary judgment and decisions were made on behalf of the employing company.
Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working knowledge and skills in operations of computers and electronic data processing. Working knowledge of modern office practices and procedures. Ability to effectively meet and communicate with the public. Ability to make independent judgments, which have impacts on the organization.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED
Telephone, personal computer including word processing software, database software, copy machine, fax machine, and scanner.
The employee must possess a valid driver s license and company required car insurance coverage, as well as reliable transportation to drive between client sites and office as required.
