Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team. These roles are crucial in ensuring accurate handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory records, operate sitdown forklift and support overall warehouse operations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Shipping & Receiving:

• Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of items received against invoices or packing slips.

• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.

• Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items securely, labeling packages accurately, and selecting appropriate shipping methods.

• Coordinate with carriers and schedule pickups or deliveries.

• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all shipments and receipts.

•  Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits.

• Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed to meet customer demands.

• Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with inventory counts.

• Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas for efficient inventory handling.

• Assist in the implementation of inventory control procedures to optimize inventory accuracy and efficiency.

•  General Warehouse Support:

• Mainly helping wrap pallets and banding them. 

• Assist in loading and unloading trucks, as well as organizing and storing inventory.

• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and according to company guidelines.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill customer orders and resolve any shipping or inventory-related issues.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Must have sit down forklift experience. 

• Proven experience as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, Inventory Clerk, or similar role in a warehouse or distribution center setting.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and shipping/receiving procedures.

• Proficiency in using inventory management software/systems (e.g., ERP systems, barcode scanners).

• Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment safely.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and external contacts.

PAY RATE

$16+ per Hour. Depending on experience. 

SCHEDULE

Monday – Friday 7am – 5 pm
