TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Shipping Specialist in the Lewisville, TX area! 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

In-Person

As Shipping Specialist, you will play a vital part of the supply chain process overseeing the efficient shipment of our products around the globe. You will be a crucial collaborator to implementing and controlling the efficient and effective flow of goods to meet both the business and customers requirements. You will utilize your specific shipping experience to continually improve team performance and effectiveness ensuring that targets within the Shipping Department are met.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping records 
• Responsible for notifying appropriate departments of any discrepancies and/or problems with material 

• Assist in preparing shipments including boxing, weighing, labelling, and consolidating orders when necessary

• Take ownership, organize, and maintain personal, company equipment and work area in a professional manner and attend scheduled HSE training

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be able to stand on feet for full shift
• Must be able to be at work every day and on time
• Must adhere to safety/privacy rules (no phones on floor)
• Must be able to read/write in English
• Must be able to read a job ticket
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Strong and professional interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to communicate in a professional manner across multiple departments and communication media with changing priorities 
• Effective time management and organizational skills, able to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently 
• Must pass drug screening, background check, and E-verify, 

PAY RATE

$15 per hour

SCHEDULE

Core hours are 9:00 am – 5:30 pm (8 hour day)
