TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Shipping and Receiving Clerk in the McKinney, TX area! 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

In-Person

As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will play a vital part of the supply chain process overseeing the efficient shipment of our products around the country. You will be a crucial collaborator to implementing and controlling the efficient and effective flow of goods to meet both the business and customers requirements. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Receive incoming shipments, verifying accuracy and inspecting for damages
• Prepare outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and coordinating with carriers
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and incoming/outgoing shipments
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Follow safety protocols and procedures in handling materials and operating equipment

• Sitting down at a desk for the most part, interacting with delivery personnel, walking the dock, receiving items into system, verification of documentation, inventory control, identify and evaluate materials, lift, carry, and open boxes

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment, works closely with 5 other
• Non-Climate controlled area
• Needs a resume – experience in Shipping and Receiving
• Must have experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Must be able to communicate in English; speak, read, write
• An in-person on-site interview will be required

PAY RATE

$17 per hour

SCHEDULE

Monday through Friday 6am-2:30p,

Overtime may be available on a voluntary basis
