JOB SUMMARY: 

Warehouse workers perform an array of functions that include picking, pulling, sorting, and packing materials, assembling, and disassembling metal warehouse racks and shelves, organizing and reorganizing work areas and materials, and supporting production and shipping functions as needed.  Performs other related duties as required. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Include but are not limited to:

• Follows safe working practices and properly wears personal protective equipment as required. Follows safe lifting procedures.

• Operates hand tools, and small power tools like hammer, screwdriver, hand drill, etc. 

• Assemble, and disassemble metal warehouse racks and shelves. 

• Picks, pulls, sorts, packs, wraps, and labels materials for transfer and relocation. 

• Packs and unpacks boxes and storage containers. 

• Safely load and unload raw materials and products from warehouses to trucks, storage containers, and production areas. Replenishes materials as needed.

• Ensures items are not damaged while moving.

• Moves raw materials to the production areas and moves finished products to inventory.

• Maintains the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse/inventory. 

• Uses pallet jack, dolly, and carts to move stock or material.

• Performs functions adhering to safety requirements to minimize risk of injury and damage to materials and facilities.

• Stocks materials in assigned locations.

• Interacts with various departments and effectively communicates with other department staff as needed in the performance of their duties. 

• Performs related duties as assigned.

Pay rate: $15.00

SCHEDULE 

Mon-Thurs / Tues-Fri 6:00AM - 4:30PM

Qualifications: 

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate and experience with hand tools, and power tools like hammers, screwdrivers, hand drills, etc. 

• Must be physically fit and able to lift and move heavy objects throughout the day. 

• Be attentive to detail, and time management skills, and be willing to assume a variety of tasks to keep the warehouse functioning. 

• Skills in effectively listening and communicating verbally and in writing.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally.

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objects up to 75 pounds occasionally and/or frequently.

• Work involves frequent periods of standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting/turning, reaching, and bending at the waist. Indoor/ outdoor work environment.

• Visual acuity, speech, and hearing; hand-eye coordination, utilizing near and far vision, depth perception, and manual dexterity necessary to work with various materials, hand tools, and power tools which are essential aspects of this position.
