Position Description:
Support the Bubble Line Production Lead in the production of bubble with a focus on safety, quality and productivity. The assistant is required to learn all aspects of the production process to fill in when the lead is not available.
Position Responsibilities:
Assist the Lead Operator in the start-up and shut down of the machine
Bag and tag finished material
Store finished material in the correct location
Meet or exceed productivity goals and expectations with a focus on safety
Use computer and scanner to log time and productivity
Learn the production process to step in as needed, or to become an Operator
Maintain clean and organized work environment
Positive attitude
Forklift qualified
Ability to lift, move and push 50 pounds
Ability to multitask, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Education and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent– ability to read and write in English
Three or more years of production work experience
Ability to use computer
Attention to safety, detail and accuracy
Bilingual – English and Spanish is advantageous
$15.00 / hour
Monday – Thursday (Fridays Occasionally)
5am -5pm with a 30- minute lunch break
