CNC 5-Axis Machinist – Night Shift

TMD Staffing is hiring an experienced CNC 5-Axis Machinist for a night shift opportunity. We are looking for a skilled machinist who can handle CNC setup, operate independently, and produce tight-tolerance parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Pay: Up to $30/hr DOE
Job Duties:
- Set up and operate Mazak Integrex 5-Axis CNC machines
- Perform complete machine setups, changeovers, and first article inspections
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Use precision measuring tools including micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, and other inspection equipment
- Set offsets, make basic program adjustments, and troubleshoot machining issues
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet tight tolerances and quality requirements
- Manage workload and follow production schedules
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of CNC Mill, CNC Lathe, or 5-Axis machining experience
- Strong CNC setup and operating experience
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
- Experience with Mazak machines is a plus
- Knowledge of G & M codes preferred
- Must be detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
