TMD Staffing is looking to hire an Entry-Level CNC Operator in the East Houston, TX area!
WORK ENVIRONMENT
In-Person; Manufacturing/Shop Setting
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate and assist with CNC machinery under the direction of experienced machinists.
- Load and unload materials and parts into machines.
- Read and follow basic work instructions, blueprints, and shop drawings.
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to inspect parts.
- Perform basic machine setup and make adjustments as trained.
- Monitor machines during production to ensure parts are produced correctly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Complete production paperwork and accurately record measurements and quantities.
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
- Assist experienced machinists with daily production tasks.
- Learn machine operation, tooling, inspection procedures, and manufacturing processes.
- Meet production schedules and quality requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous manufacturing, machining, or shop experience is a plus but not required.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to read and understand basic measurements.
- Ability to use or learn precision measuring tools.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Dependable attendance and a positive attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
PAY RATE
$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
SCHEDULE
Monday - Friday, 5:00 PM - 4:00 AM
