TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Customer Service Representative for a client located in the NRG area, 77054!
WORK ENVIRONMENT
In-person - Office
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage orders for a customer base primarily consisting of those with multiple and small dock shipments (LTL), full truck loads (FTL) and small package shipments (Fed-Ex Ground, UPS, etc.).
Managing small parcel shipments (<50 lbs), domestic and international; orders and samples; hazardous and nonhazardous. Includes prepping, packaging, arranging shipping, documentation, communication with involved persons.
Create BOL’s.
Communicate with customers via email, phone, fax, etc.
Communicate with carriers and drivers as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bilingual is a plus! (English/Spanish)
Organized and detailed
Competent in Word and Excel
DOT Hazardous Materials certified (will provide training)
Multi-modal (IATA) certified (will provide training)
CVI registered (will provide training)
PAY RATE
$18.00 + per hour, DOE
SCHEDULE
Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00 pm
