TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Driver Trainee for an employer in the Austin, TX area! 


Position:  Driver Helper

Pay: $17 PH

Shift: M-F 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Location:  Austin, Texas (North I-35)


Duties for driver trainees will include but not be limited to:

  • Go out with drivers on company delivery trucks and deliver material to job sites
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Pull orders based on the material list provided
  • Stock Material in the warehouse
  • Warehouse housekeeping
  • Maintain a safe and clean workplace environment
  • This position is used to train to become drivers of our non-CDL 26’ box trucks


Requirements:

  • Read and write English
  • Bilingual is helpful (Spanish/English)
  • Be able to lift 40 lbs.
  • Be physically fit
  • Work well with others
  • Must pass pre-qualifiers including Background and Drug Screen
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clear MVR
