TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Forklift Operator in the East Houston, TX area (77013)! 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: In-Person; Outside

PAY RATE: $15.00 per hour

SCHEDULE:

• Mon-Fri: 6:30 am – 4:30 pm

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate a sit-down forklift with a 5-ton capacity to move, stack, and transport lumber, building materials, and other goods.
• Safely load and unload materials from delivery trucks, ensuring proper placement and securing loads.
• Assist with inventory management by ensuring materials are stored in correct locations and properly labeled.
• Complete necessary paperwork, including inventory counts, shipping/receiving logs, and safety checklists.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience operating a sit-down forklift, preferably with a 5-ton capacity or larger.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 5 tons) on a regular basis.
• Prior experience in a lumber yard or construction materials setting is a plus.
