TMD Staffing is currently hiring a MIG Welder for a shop-based position in the East Houston area. This role involves assembling and repairing metal parts using MIG welding techniques and performing basic maintenance tasks, including pressure washing.
Assemble and weld metal components using MIG welding equipment.
Repair metal structures or components using high-heat tools.
Read and interpret blueprints to determine welding requirements.
Cut, shape, and smooth metal surfaces as needed.
Perform general maintenance and repairs on shop equipment.
Pressure wash equipment or surfaces as assigned.
MIG welding experience is required.
Basic welding skills and knowledge of metalworking tools.
Ability to read blueprints is preferred.
Must be able to operate a pressure washer.
Dependable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 14:00 AM -12:00 PM
