TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Machine Operator in North side of Houston, 77038 area!
A machine operator is a skilled professional who operates, sets up, and maintains industrial machinery in manufacturing, construction, or other production environments. They ensure equipment runs efficiently, safely, and in line with production schedules and quality standards
Operating and setting up machinery: Load materials, calibrate, and run machines to start production cycles
Monitoring and quality control: Inspect outputs for defects, measure parts to specifications, and adjust settings as needed
Maintenance and troubleshooting: Perform routine checks, clean machines, and identify or fix minor issues to prevent downtime
Safety compliance: Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
Documentation: Keep logs of production, maintenance, and quality checks
Technical skills: Ability to read blueprints, understand machine functions, and operate both mechanical and computer-controlled equipment
Analytical and problem-solving skills: Quickly diagnose and resolve operational issues
Attention to detail: Ensure precision in measurements and quality control
Physical stamina: Often required to stand, lift, and move materials for extended periods
Education/training: Many roles require a high school diploma or equivalent; some positions may require vocational training or certifications in specific machinery types
SCHEDULE
8am-5pm, Mon-Friday but flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed
