TMD Staffing is looking to hire experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in the Northwest Houston, TX 77040 area!
WORK ENVIRONMENT
In-Person, Non Climate-Controlled Manufacturing Facility
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance duties on equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical components, small motors, HVAC systems, and mechanical equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and identify repair solutions in a timely manner.
- Read and interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, blueprints, and operating instructions.
- Install, maintain, and replace motors, belts, bearings, wiring, and other mechanical or electrical components as needed.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, testing devices, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records, including work orders and inspection reports.
- Ensure all work meets company safety standards and follow required PPE guidelines at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with facility upkeep and support additional departments as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or general maintenance preferred.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing small motors and industrial or commercial equipment.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, and HVAC operations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with attention to detail and safety.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
PAY
$22.00–$24.00/hour DOE
SCHEDULE
Monday – Friday, 6:00AM - 2:00PM, flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed
