Job Description
TMD Staffing is looking for a dependable and hardworking Material Handler / Delivery Helper for a restaurant equipment company. This is a hands-on position involving warehouse duties, cleaning restaurant equipment and appliances, forklift operation, and assisting with deliveries. This is a small shop and needs someone that wants to grow with the growth of the company.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare restaurant equipment and appliances
- Load and unload restaurant equipment
- Operate a forklift to move materials and equipment
- Assist with warehouse organization and inventory
- Prepare equipment for delivery
- Assist the driver with deliveries, loading and unloading
- Safely handle and move heavy equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform general warehouse and material handling duties
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License – REQUIRED
- Forklift experience – REQUIRED
- Ability to lift and move heavy restaurant equipment
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
